Godwin Ohara
Godwin Ohara is a dedicated leader and advocate for street children, committed to creating opportunities for vulnerable youth in Africa. As the Executive Director of Street Priests Inc., he leads a team of six executives and over 1,000 volunteers, working to rehabilitate, mentor, and equip children living on the streets.
With a background in English and Literary Studies from the University of Calabar, Nigeria, Godwin combines communication, creativity, and leadership to drive social change. His passion for helping children has led to the successful reunification of over 31 children with their families, providing them with the support they need to build better futures.
Under his leadership, Street Priests Inc. has expanded its reach, empowering young people through education, mentorship, and advocacy. His work aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in addressing the societal challenge of street children and transforming their potential into assets for society.
Godwin believes in the power of art, creativity, and technology as tools for social change and continues to explore innovative ways to engage and uplift at-risk youth. His vision is clear: a world where every child, regardless of their circumstances, has the chance to thrive.
